I was 25 pounds heavier than I am now in this picture.  We are very fortunate to have been able to adopt our boys, but this meant I couldn't use baby weight as an excuse.  I was burnt out on going to the gym and working out.  I could not bring myself to lift another weight or jump on another cardio machine.  I had to change my workouts and my approach to shaping my body.  In this "before" picture I am 33 years old and I was wearing a size 10 and, as you can see, squeezing into it.  I was suffering from back spasms, fatigue, mood swings and depression.  I had to do something and I didn't want to go back to the grind of gym workouts.  I started doing research on Pilates and dove right in with 3 sessions a week.  I lost inches off my frame in a matter of 2 weeks.  I felt amazing and I knew that this was the exercise program for me.  I was officially addicted to doing Pilates.  20 minutes of lying on the floor doing specific little stretches, who would have thought that it could have such amazing results?  Within 1 year I lost the extra weight and felt more confident and comfortable about my body than I ever had.  I was getting compliments all the time and I knew that I had to share this wonderful exercise style.  It is so effective that you will not believe that it actually works, but it does.  I am the proof.
